West Tawakoni Memorial Post 2559 Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States was chartered March 31, 1966.  Its Ladies Auxiliary was chartered October 1 of the same year.  For forty-five years our Post has been proudly serving our community and helping our Veterans.  We have taken the forefront in providing patriotic programs for the community. If you have fought in a foreign war, you are eligible to join the Post and your spouse, daughter, mother and sister are all eligible for the Auxiliary.  We are also hoping to form a Mems Auxiliary, whose eligibility requirements are the same as for the Ladies Auxiliary, except for gender.
